Townies are anyone that lives in the city with no knowledge of the countryside.
When Ali G goes to that farm and says he doesn't know that chickens lay eggs the man calls him a real 'townie'. I'm a townie.
Well at least that's my understanding (and my dads I asked him!!!!)
