The 49ers got the Patriots' first-round pick last year, which they used to draft offensive lineman Joe Staley. Didn't turn out like they hoped because they were garbage this year and gave up a good pick now.

Trust me bro, Joe Stale was worth it. He is our best lineman now. We needed him. We probably would have gone 0-16 if Kwame was out there.

Time will tell on that, he is legit, and we needed line help, and still do. But giving up a 1st round pick (7th overall) and a 4th round for the 26th pick isn't very good. I think the 49ers were expecting to contend, meaning New England would have had a late 1st-round pick this year. Either way, I hope it works out and New England just drafts a bust who doesn't do anything, that would make me feel better.

As far as Kwame, he is on the Raiders now, so you won't have to travel too far to execute your hit.
