Re-used lyrics
« on: May 03, 2001, 05:06:32 PM »
I don't know if this has been discussed before, but I wuz listening to one of Snoops unreleased tracks (Death Row Eastside) and I noticed that the verse he has about 1 minut into the song is almost exactly like the one he has on The Game Dont Wait from Warren G's I Want It All

Can some of yall name other songs (unreleased and released) where the same lyrics are used. (doesn't necessarily have to be a Snoop song)

Getto 8)

The Snoop one from 'OG' in my sig is recycled in 'OG to BG' on Chronic 2000 'Still Smokin'

Most rappers say the same shit over and over. They just change it around. I think every rapper has done that on their albums. Just listen to 2pac or Ice Cube and you'll see what I mean.

Snoop's 2nd verse I think on Midnight Love is repeated almost identically on some wack song on Da Game.

How about the song Hit Rocks and Buss N Rocks, exact same song, but one is for Deathrow and the other for No Limit.

When snoop does this he is just wanting to make money off of his work, all his previous unreleased deathrow material hasn't all been heard, so he puts it out for his MONEY making so deathrow can't jump to quick.

DPGC - No way man he uses the chorus of Don't Let GO in his rap on Midnite Love
"Life'll twist you like a twister get twisted with this it seems it's on but it's off i keep missing this shit I'm high but I try to stay focused wide eyed looking dead at the chips I blink they dip it's hard to hang on"

And like most of Da Game the song isn't wack just misunderstood by ignorant people who can't respect Snoop trying something different
Safe

Yeah your right, I went back and listened to it, it's just that Midnight Love is one of my all-time favorite Snoop songs and I didn't feel Show Me Love.
