Is It Just Me?
« on: March 23, 2008, 04:45:46 AM »
I am no longer anticipating anything that comes out of Aftermath. There is no doubt Dre's music from 1986 to 2002 is timeless, but these past 5 years haven't really given me anything to look forward to. Every decent artist Dre signs to his label leaves because their albums don't get released, and the ones that somehow do get released have increasingly mediocre beats by Dre with less and less promotion. I never liked G-Unit musically or otherwise, Bishop Lamont does nothing for me, Eminem released an abomination called "Encore", and as far as we know, Detox may never even see the light of day. Not only that, but it seems like Dre is trying to distance himself from rap to get into other genres like he tried to in '96. I just don't feel like he's working on anything substantial that is worth my time. Perhaps it's a personal problem, but that is why I made this thread.

Does anyone feel the same as I do?

i mean i'll listen 2 anything that dre put's out as a solo rapper or producer..but as far as his fam at aftermath i could careless about them...the only thing i still like at aftermath is the producer's that dre works with
