Bynum doubtful for start of playoffs

Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum is doubtful for the start of the playoffs, and Coach Phil Jackson acknowledged a "sense of disappointment" that Bynum would not play in the Lakers' last three regular-season games the Los Angeles Times reported. Earlier this week, Jackson said there was a chance Bynum would begin practicing Saturday and possibly play Sunday against San Antonio.

The Lakers hoped Bynum would wait another week to see if the swelling disappeared, but Bynum's advisors wanted him to see the specialist Thursday. It appeared Bynum was working his way back into shape after beginning one-on-one workouts last week. He progressed from playing against assistant coaches to center Chris Mihm.

"They pushed to go early," Jackson said. "We wanted him to go next week. They really wanted to go."

Sounds like he won't be a factor in the playoffs. I doubt Phil is gonna play him before they worked all that stuff out... and even the Frist Round will not be easy... not easy enough to do some experiments.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

worse case scenario, I think he can at least bring that defensive edge that the Lakers have been lacking as of late....and add a few extra buckets. Best case scenario would be offensive and defensive domination of course...   8)

Sounds like he's done for the season. If he's out 2 more weeks, it just doesn't make sense to all of a sudden include him in the line-up. I advise y'all niggas to not think about Bynum anymore, it will only make you sad.
