The Game vs Snoop Doggs Material Legacy

I think Snoop's catelogue has more consistency. If you look at just his solo albums there is one classic (Doggystyle), two near classics (NL Top Dogg, Tha Last Meal), and 3 above average releases (Doggfather, Blue Carpet Treatment, Ego Trippin) compared to Game's two official albums.


The Game's "Documentary" is a very good album, but the G-Unit formula seemed to be a little overused throughout (it's obvious 50 wrote a majority of those hooks). "Doctor's Advocate" was a more complete album, minus 2 or 3 fillers.

I wouldn't even judge Game's older work and compare it to his shit now, because back then his whole style was too similiar to Shyne for me to even critique.

Both sets of fans usually way overrate their favorite MC's actual MCing skills, and pay way too much attention to how 'real' or hard dude is, and also seem to have been totally brainwashed by the marketing and hype

Game is dope but come on, he's not that dope, he just has a cool image, he has had some great beats to rap over and he's a reasonably solid MC
