West coast rap is all about anyone who lives in the west coast who can rap, whether it's hyphy, gangsta, conscious, underground, Latin Hip Hop, Chicano rap or gets no radio play other than The Wake Up Show, Pocos Pero Locos or respected radio stations.Speaking of radio stations (spoiler), included in F.A.B.'s interview is an article about the sudden demise of hyphy in the Bay Area, and how he, Mac Dre and E-40's single "Tell Me When To Go (Dumb)" played a big part for and against the radio station KMEL. You will not believe the kind of things that happen off the air, and if you're lucky, on air.F.A.B., after reading your situation, I am going to be watching your music now. I got a glimpse of you when you collabed with Chingo Bling on "Do Tha Lasso," and just a few days ago your featured guest spot with Snoop Dogg and Too Short on "Life Of Da Party." I wish you the best of success in the music industry, and I expect to hear great things from you in the future, starting with The Alchemist album.I do have a question, Nima, that you might want to ask F.A.B.: being the radio station that is now leaning more into the national schematics, did they treat Latin Hip Hop music/Chicano rap with the same form of disrespect like with hyphy music? The only artist I know of that get play up there are Dyablo, Jay Tee, Don Cisco and Baby Bash (he is technically a Bay Area artist even though he's dirty south now). Also, is Pocos Pero Locos on any of the Bay Area stations? If KMEL runs it, I'm gonna be pissed.
