LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- In a move that stunned the entertainment world, actress Angeline Jolie announced on Tuesday that she was giving up acting to peruse a career as a rhythm and blues songstress.

Jolie raised eyebrows after appearing at a recent press junket wearing a Precise Music Group shirt and embracing rap artist Ya Boy. According to website TMZ.com, when questioned about the move Jolie broke into song and proceeded to make a series of unknown hand gestures.

"I've always been a very musical person and my partnership with PMG will allow me to showcase my lyrical talent" Jolie said on Tuesday. "Ya Boy has already written me several songs. I've recorded eleven tracks about white girls, snowmen, and ice. I guess he wants me to make a CD for the winter!"

Artist William Crawford aka Ya Boy gained notoriety in 2002 with his regional hit "16's With Me" rapping over a song from George Lucas' Star Wars. Crawford has since released numerous mix tapes and written the majority of Kevin Federline's debut album Playing with Fire.

"I saw Angie doing the Madonna thing taking babies from all over the place, so I reached out to her and asked if she wanted to make one with me and forget the whole adoption thing" Crawford told reporters Tuesday at his Malibu home. "What up Brad? You know the name of the game homie! Your broad chose me!"

Brad Pitt's publicist had no comment as of press time.
