if you really pay attention to a dog then yeah they 'love' you

my dad is always with the dog and takin him out front and playin, he follows him everywhere but the bathroom

whether or not they understand shit is irrelevant, you're being too cut and dry with it

of course dogs can see when a person treats it right, that's why it trusts you

there are people who don't feed their dogs and treat them like shit and they still try to get attention from the owner
