the one that sicks out in my mind is Kurupt, sure i loved the dogg pound and shit and his verse in Ain;t no fun but what made me go out and get his first album was when i was in the shower listenin to Nate Doggs cd for the first time and the song First we Prey came on and kurupt dropped his verse i stopped what i was doin and just listened, couple days later when i was down in Florida i got Kuruption and he has been my fav artist since then (next to pac)
anyone else have an experience like this???

theres plenty of career defining verses...

a great example are two of my favirote biggie verses...the first verse off 'who shot ya' and his shit on craig mack's 'flava in your ear' (remix) which goes "disapear vamoosh, your wack to me/sent them rhymes back to the factory etc"

another example is pac's verse on 'keep ya head up' where we says "i wonder why we take from our women/why we hate our women/ do we hate our women?" etc...when i heard that shit pac became more than just another gangsta rap spin off to me and i began to respect his poetry.....

Another example is Canibus' 'Ice Cream' freestyle off funk flex's shit......it is kinda fitting that his finest moment to date came on one of his infamous freestyles....
