The Real Deal Behind The Land Issue In Zimbabwe

Firstly to address the question you just asked the train of thought is that the establishment went after Hitler because it needed to create a portrayal of an evil man who must be stopped. Having achieved this aim of stopping him, the only way of making sure something like this never happened again, was to create the league of nations, i.e. to create the beginnings of world government not in the enlightened athiest sense but a means of consolidating power on a grand scale. Now regarding Mugabe I have a white Zimbabwean friend of mine who tells it no different to how you just addressed zimbabwe but lets not get this twisted in any way shape or form. Mugabe paraded himself as being a great socialist who was going to redistribute the land to the poor in order to garner the support of the poor and thus to create an encampment whereby anyone disagreeing with him would be seen as the enemy. Now of course those people have realised they were just pawns, the excuse to implement the land grabs because sure enough the land has not been redistributed to the poor, instead as has been heavily documented, it become a case of rampant cronyism, the people most loyal to him getting the spoils of the land. Also I always find it somewhat ironic that people will talk about the black man's suffering in Zimbabwe but totally ignore the minority indigenous population of zimbabwe who are clearly the most marginalised of the groups. They get shitted on by everyone and yet they are the forgotten group in zimbabwe, most of what people think of as indigenous zimbabweans are zulus, who arrived into Zimbabwe at basically the same time as the dutch did.
This is the problem which I myself have been guilty of before we know there is one group who are particularly bad and so we tend to see any group who shows opposition towards them as being good, when in fact the reality is both sides are bad. The truth is that Mugabe is just another tyrannical leader, who is driven by the same megalomania and lust for power as any european elitist. He uses the poor as his pawns, deceives them but manages to keep at least a proportion of them on his side by evoking the history of the white mans rule there. The rule of law has gone up in smoke and instead has been replaced with a wild pillaging where anything goes because "we are the law".

The flipside of all this is that if the West did not pursue the foreign policies it has done i.e., securing natural resources such as oil, gold etc., how would it impact us; the regular peeps who reside in Western countries?
We could face a catastrophic energy crisis in the near future - scheduled power cuts, hyper inflating energy prices all becoming the norm. And we, the regular consumer, would be hit first and hit the hardest. You could easily perceive the intentions of Western govt agencies as being "us or them" with regard to foreign nations.
Just a point I'm throwing out there - but I feel it's a valid one.

We have never benefited from this the western corporations implement this seizure of resources to create a monopoly, without this monopoly, there woud be greater competition which would drive down the prices and would lead to a more stable world. Instead we have a situation in which a small group of individuals control everything and use that power to control governments, initially this was outward looking but it's now the west who are getting targeted also. England is a land of contradiction, it is supposedly bathed in affluence and yet over 50% of the population lives on a salary of less than 18,500, when you bear in mind spiraling inflation, that's close to living hand to mouth. War doesn't just oppress those who face it directly in the form of hails of bullets and rockets, it also oppresses those who it's "fighting in the name of" bankrupting us morally, financially squeezing us to the point where it becomes difficult to breath without joining the system, inspiring thousands to become lambs to the slaughter.

I think its only natural that corporations would come about, although I agree the corporate system is one-sided, a government will give emergency money to a corporation to help bail them out of hard times, yet the individual stock holder waiting to retire won't get anything but a bad return...so word, it is not a truly 'free' market, because that could be chaotic for major industry and probably the economic system as a whole, its like imagine if every-country DID have the right to have nuclear weapons, it is not a truly free market, but it is a free market created in a particular form, whereas a real free market would be formless and ever changing, the hegemon and seat of military and economic power ever shifting.
The problem with this system is that its geared towards consumption and dependancy rather than self-sustainability and independence.
And Im not only meaning economically, its socially, culturally, individually, spiritually...

co-sign all of this, thats why the Iraq resource war for oil has got oil prices rocketing, these resource wars only benefit a elite few, like oil companies and Bush and Cheney's friends in Haliburton for example in relation to that Iraq oil war for example
