Obama insults Americans yet again

Real American:
How many times is Barack Obama going to insult the very people whose vote  he is asking for? First his spirtual advisor wishes damnation on America and calls us the U.S. of K.K.K. Then Obama throws his grandmother (the women who raised him) under the bus and calls her a "typical white person" for harboring racist beliefs. Now Obama is bashing small town Americans for being religious and calling them immigrant bashers and bigots.

It is funny how Obama constantly brags about having lived overseas in Indonesia and Pakistan and uses it as evidence that he understands people all over the world. What his latest comments prove is that he doesn't understand the people living right here in America.


Clinton hits Obama over 'bitter' comment

Clinton is seizing on a recently reported Obama comment.
(CNN) — Democrat Hillary Clinton is seizing on comments Barack Obama recently made in which he said some Pennsylvanians who have lost their jobs are "bitter."

"It's being reported that my opponent said that the people of Pennsylvania who face hard times are bitter," Clinton said during a campaign event in Philadelphia. "Well that's not my experience. As I travel around Pennsylvania. I meet people who are resilient, optimist positive who are rolling up their sleeves."

"Pennsylvanians don't need a president who looks down on them," she said. "They need a president who stands up for them, who fights hard for your future, your jobs, your families."

Obama's comments were reported earlier Friday by the Web site Huffingtonpost.com. The Web site says he made them at a fundraising event in San Francisco last Sunday. On Friday evening, it posted audio of the comments that verified their accuracy.

"You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them...And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not," he said.

"And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations," he also said.

McCain's campaign also criticized the comment Friday. "It shows an elitism and condescension towards hardworking Americans that is nothing short of breathtaking," said Steve Schmidt, a senior advisor to McCain. "It is hard to imagine someone running for president who is more out of touch with average Americans."

The real Obama shows up in San Francisco

If you go to the most expensive private school in Hawaii and then move on to Columbia University and Harvard Law School, you may not understand normal Americans. Their beliefs are so alien to your leftwing viewpoint that you have to seek some psychological explanation for what seem to be weird ideas.

They can't really believe in the right to bear arms.

They can't really believe in traditional marriage.

They can't really believe in their faith in God.

They can't really want to enforce the law on immigration.

Therefore, they must be "bitter" and "frustrated."

This is the closest Senator Obama has come to openly sharing his wife's view that "America is a mean country". Not since Governor Dukakis have we seen anyone so out of touch with normal Americans. It makes perfect sense that it was in a fundraiser in San Francisco that he would have shared the views he has so carefully kept hidden for the entire campaign.

Here is a link from the same event where Obama made his controversial comments. In this video clip, Obama is basically calling small town folks in Ohio and Pennsylvaniz racists. Of course the San Francisco liberals in attendance laugh in agreement.

this is a retarded thread.  Just another example of politicians taking a minor comment and blowing it completely out of proportion.   So the fuck what if he said those people were biter that they lost their jobs.   People do stick with people who believe in the same shit they do and thats an indisputable fact.   The comments don't mean he's out of touch with anything...  when people get laid off or fired  they do get mad, pissed, frustrated, biter.. whatever.  You would think elections would be about the issues, not about some minor comment that doesnt mean shit.

Sidenote: I'm not a supporter of Barack or any of the candidates,  the American democratic process is a joke.
