^^lol dawg i been hopin for nearly 3 years about this shit man,  worst thing about it is that dre said spring 2003 and its 2003 spring now n summa is one its way so the first single could be droppin real soon now but as we still have no diea about this project, its jus killin me to bitz, i jus hope i dont get dissapointed when it drops cuz as each day goes by i see it as one day closer to rakim and shits gettin me mad hyped! and whats pissin me off is we know nothing at all about this project apart from dre and premo are signed on to make beats. shits pissin me off but im mad hyped at the same time, but im jus sayin i cant see this droppin in june, specailly with 50 cent still makin mad noise and still got his many men video to drop yet

Cause he hasn't.

His last album, The Master came out late '99.  So just a little over three years at the most.

Rakim signed with Aftermath, late October/early November 2000.
That would make the relationship 2 years and 6 months..
