This album will again be overseen by Questlove and the Soulquarians with contributions from Black Thought and possibly Talib Kweli.  Production will be handled by Questlove with help from Jay Dee, No ID, DJ Premier and DJ Scratch...
 
The album will be something totally different from anything ever released in hip hop. ?uestlove says "It sounds like Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon plus David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust plus Prince Paul in a blender". Guest appearances include his Soulquarian crew [Erykah Badu, Bilal, The Roots, etc.] with production by ?uestlove, Jay Dee and James Poyser who all did work on his critically acclaimed gem Like Water For Chocolate.  

The first single is produced by The Neptunes, featuring Maty J Blige.

Word.  Common is great.  "The Light" is one of my fav hip-hop songs ever.  Peace!

Was wondering where WCV's thread was gone  ;D But yeah, this is some good news. Sounds like it's gonna be interesting, the influences make it sound like it's gonna be pretty eccentric and out there.
