he is promoting an image to gain more fans and sell more units, it's called "being smart" and "not caring about your hardcore fanbase"

So he swapped his hiphop fans for a handful of kids and girls who like to sing Sensual Seduction in the playground, and a handful of country fans who decide to buy his album based on one kind of jokey 'country' song and based on him going around town dressed as a cowboy

As a Snoop fan I have to agree. Terrible single choices and the album is gonna go so far down the charts it will be tough to save it. He should take some time off and really think what direction he wants to go for his next project
