Props on the interview! Kokane is the man. I hope one day he goes back to rappin' like he used to. Funk Upon A Rhyme is a classic in my eyes. I just wish I could find me a original cd hard copy of it I still got the cassette.

Dope interview. Kokane is one of my favorites from the West of all. Good to see Kokane talk about the times with ATL, NWA, & all that back in the day. Can't wait for part 2. 8)

thanks guys  8)

What y'all think of that song by the way?

Also I gave Kokane the forum info so he's gone register up and interact with the fans soon.

peace

props, part 1 was real intersting.

You know a kokane interview is gonna be good as he always goes into depth rather than giving a bunch of generic answers.

nice interview  :) looking forward to reading part 2  ;)

G-Funk, Aftermath and everything y'all stole our shit period so it was a difference of opinions then he had Kurupt diss me on something called "Blunts and Tangueray" me and Hutch so we replied back "Don't Bite The Funk That Feed You" and keep in mind this too "The Chronic" album completely almost sounds exactly like "Black Mafia Life" (Above The Law's album) because I'ma tell you the real Hutch showed Dre a lot of things which Dre is a genius if Hutch never did show him.

Dre is one of the biggest persons in the game but Hutch showed him a lot of stuff, Hutch gave him break beats on NWA and all kind of stuff but didn't get the credit. I'm telling it like it is for the whole world to know. This is how it go down so that was what started the beef between Ruthless and Death Row.

Did anyone check out Kokas new Myspace page??

He dropped some really interesting footage on there; he is him with Dr: Dre and Snoop Dogg working in the studio;

And here is a bunch of footage of Kokane with Busta Rhymes, Battlecat, Short Khop and more,

Dont know why you broke the interview up like this. It was barely getting started.

I wonder how much of Jerrys statement about Hutch, more or less, stating it all and darn near starting Snoops career by executively producing his album. The good old "Dre ripped off Black Mafia Life" also sounds a bit old to me, seeing as how these records have very little in common, musically and production-wise.

Im sure Hutch and Dre learned well of each other, and whoever was the first to put a "g" in fron of funk will forever be a cause of dispute, but why not let it rest and move forward??

All the best to Koka and da fam.
