true... but a father saying it and then training someone to do it makes it a unique situation.

I don't know about 1000x better..^^
Floyd Sr. was a great fighter in his own, who had his Boxing cut short.
he gave Sugar Ray Leonard one of his tuffest fight's.

Floyd Sr. is old school, he's the typical hard dad who will never show emotion.
he defo loves his son. but coming from where he's at right now, he see's Jr. as being
ungratful and forgeting about who put him where he is at. (Sr. put the gloves on him)

^^Well, he probably wants his son to lose in fear that his son will go out recognized as a way better fighter with no losses, while he's lost his share of matches in his day... kinda whack when u think about it.

The hate is more complicated than that.  It has a lot to do with the mom. Floyd Jr. is extremely close with his mother, and basically she also hates Floyd Sr.  I'm sure Floyd Sr. accepts the fact that Jr. will be seen as one of the best of all time, and already way ahead of him.

What a joke.

Or a boxer who made a living off fighting the best in whatever weight class he was in at the moment without worrying about his sacred record like other boxers?

Hector Camacho
Julio Cesar Chavez, 2x
Pernell Whitaker
undefeated Ike Quartey
Fernando Vargas
Felix Strum

The Losses

Mayweather Jr.
Mosley, 2x (Mosley clearly won Fight 1, but 2 was more in Oscars favor)
Hopkins
Trinidad (Oscar fucked up for kicking back in the last 3 rounds, but Oscar had outboxed him)

Mayweather, Mosley, Hopkins and Trinidad were great champions. Vargas you can take off that list, he was completely overrated. Chavez was like 170 yrs old when they faught lol Ike Quartey was pretty good at the time, hardly one of the "greats" of this era though and that was a close fight. Camacho was good too, never considered him a great champion. Pernell got robbed.
