Got to give it to her; that's a nice piece of brand building.

Playing devils advocate, surely she has to use her brand to bring attention to this, if she were to having this deep support and connection to these people but not take advantage of the fact that she is a celebrity in order to embolden many others to call for change, then surely she wouldn't be doing the right thing?

Now I am not saying this is not some cynical marketing ploy but it seems a case to me of damned if she does and damned if she doesn't.
