I don't know why these haters say the West can't hang with the South. It' s just those sorry rappers that can't hang. The Game, Too Short, Snoop, and E-40 all hang with the South and they move units and do it real big. The Game hit #1 on 106 & Park with "Game's Pain" so don't give me that the West can't make moves. It's just a lot of these so-called rappers are crybabies and they cut bad deals for themselves. Glasses malone made a smart decision to sign with Cash Money. He at least positions himself for potential success. While a lot of these acts like Crooked I and 40 Glocc have singles with Akon on them but sign dumb deals so Akon just takes their money to the bank while they get no airplay cause they have no exposure with their underground deals. The smart rappers sign with a good label. That's step number one in handling business. The Game and Felli Fel are making big noise for the West Coast. Felli Fel is reppin hard on "THE FINER THINGS" with that smash beat and that pimped out track. The Game is doing great with "Game's Pain" he gives mad props to The Notorious B.I.G. on that track and Naughty By Nature. These cats are doing it, it's time for the other cats to take some notes and step their game up.
Felli Fel from the West Coast?
Quote from: MASHALOT on July 01, 2008, 06:37:01 AMFelli Fel from the West Coast? nah, from ATL shawty! Just moved to LA to work at power 106, used to work on the radio station in ATL prior. Here's a quick bio:Although this b-boy was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina and raised in Atlanta, DJ Felli Fel launched his radio career at KNON, a community radio station out of Dallas, Texas. He then landed his 1s1 commercial gig on a Spanish radio station, KICK FM. Later, deciding to take a break from the radio scene, Felli Fel began putting out mixtapes. His product and popularity grew rapidly. Felli was hired to do intros and jingles for other radio shows and producing music for several Midwest artists at the time. His relentlessness to keep his name in the game and in the streets led K104, Dallas' overall top-rated radio station, to call and offer him an on-air DJ position. At K104 for 3 years, Felli Fel's experience was instrumental in landing a job at Power 106 in Los Angeles, where he continues to stay connected to the streets with his "Felli Fel Mixtapes" and "Heavy Hits" vinyl issue releases.check out the whole bio athttp://www.mixmatters.com/featured_dj/felli_fel/felli_fel.html
