Greatest Album Ever Tournament...EVERYONE read....

We had a greatest east coast song and greatest south song tournament here, so why not a Greatest album ever tournament?? Of course, it wont be just west coast. All regions can/will be included.

However, I wanna do things a little differently than the other tournaments. I wanna make this long and complex, so its more challenging [and fun] at the same time. The tournament will probably last a few weeks with the way I wanna do things.

I want EVERYONE to list their top 30 albums of all time, IN ORDER [this is important, and I will explain why]. List the albums you like best, but try to be objective and non-biased at the same time. The way it will work is based on points. Album #1 is worth 30 points, album #2 is 29 points, album #3 is 28 points, and so on and so on. So that means album #30 is worth one point. I know this will be very hard, cuz we all have a ton of albums we love, and ranking them in order will be extremely difficult, but thats part of the fun in all this :) Remember, try to be as objective as possible. Dont list every album from your fav artist or a bunch of albums from one coast. Try to make your list as diverse as possible. I know yall can do it, cuz we have many intelligent hip hop fans here.

After everyone has posted their lists, I will tally up all the totals, and the top 64 albums will make the tournament. The tournament will be consisted of 4 Divisions, with 16 albums in each division [8 pairs of albums per division]. The albums will face eachother in a format similiar to the NBA playoffs, in each individual division, and I will put them in each division randomly. For example, the #1 album will go up against the #16 album, #2 vs. #15, #3 vs. #14 and so on...........Each Division will continue until there is one remaining album left. There will be 4 rounds per division. After Division 1 is completed, we will move on to Division 2, then 3, and then 4. After all 4 divisions are complete, we will have a Final 4.........the winner will be declared as the greatest album ever [at least in this boards opinion].

So, everyone start listing away!!!!!! Remember, post your top 30 albums IN ORDER of greatness!! If anyone has any questions, comments, or would like to help me, just say so......peace. I will post my list later on.
