It's a mix of everything...I buy just about anything new that comes out (hip-hop wise), and now that I've got pretty much everything I want, so I'm trying to get some of the older stuff.  I've been collecting CD's for many years, so now I'm trying to buy up every decent rapper's entire catalog.

That_Cracka_J, do you listen to a lot of conscious hip hop? (ATCQ, Mos Def, Kweli, Bahamadia, etc.).

That_Cracka_J:
No I don't really like any of them.  I like to hear some bangin' production with some tight lyrics.  That's why I don't really like Xzibit's first two albums...Lyrically they're tight, but I think the production is boring, so can't really get into them.  IMO, a lot of the "conscious" rap has boring production.  Peace.

That_Cracka_J, are there any conscious rappers (or specific conscious CDs) that you think have tight production?

Twentytwofifty:
^^^The three you have above^^^
