Skateboarder Brian Keith Patch, 36, Busted For Lewd Act On Girl, 15

WESTMINSTER (AP) ― Prosecutors say professional skateboarder Brian Keith Patch has been arrested on a felony charge of having sex with a minor.

Orange County district attorney spokeswoman Farrah Emami says the 36-year-old Patch will be arraigned Wednesday on one felony count of lewd acts with a child.

Prosecutors allege that Patch had sex with a 15-year-old girl who slept at his house after she ran away from home in April. The girl, identified only as Jane Doe, was also a skateboarder and had known Patch for three years.

Patch posted $45,000 bail on May 15. It wasn't immediately known if he had an attorney.

Patch set a Guinness world record for longest air on a skateboard of 58 feet in 2001, but it was broken by Danny Way in 2006. He also has five X Games medals in four different categories.
