I've been thinking the same thing when listening to this song. The worst thing about this happening in the UK is that instead of things getting better (with the national newspapers exposing the names of known sex offenders etc) it seems to be getting worse, and the cases are getting more and more extreme too, resulting in death in almost every case now. You can only imagine the pain their families must be going through now.

Also, recently i've read this book called, "A Child Called It", it's basically a true story about this young boy who is abused physically and mentally by his mother. She did some of the most sickening things to him, including making him eat a nappy full of his baby brothers shit, she starved him & only fed him scraps from the dogs bowl or scraps from the families leftovers if he was lucky, she stabbed him and beat him constanly among other things. This book is extremely graphic, made me feel sick a good few times. Luckily this kid survived, but this goes on everyday and there's very few success stories which is sad.
