Yeah I meant that he isn't off the label, he's just looking right now. I think the problem is that Shady only releases Eminem albums. He's the kinda person that could release a quality album every other year... not waiting three or four in between each one. I think that's why he wants to go somewhere else. The chemistry between Em and Obie is definitely there, but they just don't put albums out fast enough for him.

i see. Well they did put out 2 obie albums and 2 d12 albums, not bad...if obie didnt flop on the 2nd cd, he wouldnt have had 2 wait so long (damn shame because that flop wasnt his fault at all, he got screwed over with "snitch" getting banned).

^^ Well they did release those 4 other albums besides Eminem's, but they don't do it often enough. Obie is lyrical as fuck and way underrated, both his albums are multi platinum quality. And real talk, I don't think Bad Boy would be any better for him... but who knows, we could be wrong.

I don't think Obie is one to compromise his lyrics just to get radio play or commercial success. That's why he'll probably end up going to Koch or a different indie label.

True but I don't think it would be that bad of a move to go to Bad Boy.  Diddy would probably get him on a bunch of singles and build his buzz back up.  Then have him make a catchy song like "Got Some Teeth".  Besides the lack of promotion, that was one of the problems on his 2nd album.  It didn't have a good single.  Plus, it sounded like that album wasn't mixed properly.
