Dogg Pound Albums
« on: June 25, 2008, 04:26:27 AM »
Ok, so I decided to delete some shitty albums from my hard drive and remembered that they have fallen pretty far.
I don't have time to listen all of the albums so I'm gonna count on your judgement, since there is many DPG-fans.

From the group albums I thought about saving only that Debut Album and some leftovers.
From Daz: R.A.W. & Retaliation...
Kurupt albums I'm gonna save because his new ones ain't some southern boombastic shit.

If Daz or Dogg Pound got some more good albums than feel free to express.

Thanks for your help!

Have you checked out "Dillinger & Young Gotti II: The Saga Continuez"? If not, you really need to check it out. My favourite album after "Dogg Food".

Daz's "Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta LP" is great. Brings back the old g-funk sound one more time. Dillinger & Young Gotti is also solid. I bump Gangsta Prerogative and We Livin Gangsta Life regularly.

co-sign on all this! 8)

the D&YG 2 isn't their best lyrically. it was semi-rushed album, but the beats are bangin.'
as for Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta LP, that's an overlooked album. it's got a lot of soft beats, but it's great.
Daz's So So Gangsta is a must too. also, look for the So So Gangsta Advance for cuts that didn't make the album.
Daz's RAW is great too. as for Daz's RR&GB, that doesn't have much replay value for me.
Kurupt's Against the Grain actually isn't too bad. I'd check that out (as well as the Kurupt Super-Thread on here).
