by the way, until 1930 there was a rule than MVP's couldn't be given to the same guy twice

infact they only had the MVP award from 1911-1914 and most of the 1920's had it...very screwy

if they had our MVP system Babe Ruth woulda been MVP in 1919, 1920, 1921, 1923, 1924, 1926, 1927 and 1928...hell maybe even 1930 and 1931 too...

i hate when i hear someone say "Ruth only had one MVP" on tv to argue against him, those dumbasses don't know the rules (i.e. my boy Colin Cowherd)

^^very true,  Bonds obviously should of won in 1991 and 2000 also so even though he had 7 Mvps he should have 9.  Barry Bonds was absolutely amazing,  he was born to play and dominate the game of Baseball,  Arod is special but lets be real here it could be a long ass time if ever if we ever see a player in the same league as Bonds ever again, my god he was a amazing player.

^^LMAO!  Cmon Hack,  before 1999 and steroids,  Barry Bonds had 400+ home runs and 400+ stolen bases,  3 MVPS and 8 Gold Gloves, he was already top 5 or 10 before any steroids,  and lets remember that the Mitchell Report had steroid users from every team in Baseball,  Bonds was one of many in this era,  the whole era is tarnished,  why blame just Barry?  He is easily top 5 and you can make the argument for top 2 or 3 or hell even 1 for that matter. (even though I take Mays over Bonds in a heartbeat)

1-Raffy Palmiero won a gold glove for playing 28 games of defense....this shows you how must i care about GG's.  especially a Left Field gold glove lol.  thats like being the smartest retarded kid haha.

2-all ten players i listed > bonds

3-was Bonds a star pitcher before becoming a star slugger?  Ruth pitched 28 straight shutout innings in the world series :D

^^dude you are way off with gold gloves,  they pick the 3 best defensive outfielders in general,  has nothing to do with what position you play LOL,  you cant win 8 gold gloves and not be a legendary defender. Please stop Hack.  Also the 10 you listed aren't better than Bonds,   Mays, Ruth and Aaron?  yeah probably those guys but not a chance at any others you listed,  Bonds is easily top 5,  true baseball heads no that even if they hate him, it is not debatable.

personally I'll take A-rod over Bonds...a little less arrogance, a MUCH more valuable position (shortstop and 3rd base), both are 40-40 members and ironically A-rod is a better post season preformer than Bonds :D

^^did you just say Arod is a better playoff performer then Bonds?? hahahah.  Bonds was terrible w/ Pit in the playoffs but he had the best postseason in baseball history in 2002,  ARod has been flat out weak in his playoff career so far but he does have time to change that but regardless,  Bonds>>Arod  all day every day,  that argument is the definition of a no-brainer,  Bonds shits all over Arod.

^^I didn't use Gold Gloves as a argument LMAO!!  I had 7MVP'S, 760 home runs and 500 stolen bases as a argument lol but um yeah 8 gold gloves on top of all that LOL nice try Hack.

Here is the best 10 to ever play the game (I will do separate list for pitchers)

1. Willie Mays
2. Babe Ruth
3. Barry Bonds
4. Ted Williams
5. Ty Cobb
6. Hank Aaron
7. Lou Gehrig
8. Stan Musial
9. Joe DiMaggio
10. Mickey Mantle

i was refering to spiggity spice

but anyone who uses gold gloves to compare players who didnt play when GG's were awarded is lame

you should replace Stan Musial with Honus Wagner or Tris Speaker
