It's probably the best deal the A's could have gotten.  They weren't going to exercise his option for 2009, might as well deal him. 

The A's know what there doing. I bet most people cant name 5 a's players but there still in the Al west race 51-42 4 gms out

Hes just lucky he became a good closer and got his arm back

thats the name that was escaping me but yeah

i rememebr those days like 03-04 they had those 3 pitches and oakland had mulder, hudson and zito

yes I'd ratehr have JOSH BECKETT over Tim Lincecum  LOL


beckett is a "big boy" pitcher

Lincy is a sophmore with no playoff experience or pressure
