Ready To Die Vs. Life After Death
« on: July 02, 2002, 10:14:55 PM »
which of these two biggie albums do y'all think is better? I personally think that R2D is a more complete album, whereas life after death had a lot of really dope songs but also had a couple of track that were just unlistenable. So in the end R2D wins this battle, but both albums are classic IMO and both are in my top 10 rap albums of all time.

"ready to die" WAS prolly as close as it gets to perfection-one of tha top3 albums of all time fa sho, and my personal all time fave...."Life after death" could've been shortened down to one disk-since it has enough material to make a classic, but it did have some out-of-place cuts that could've been taken off.

Ready To Die

I think that Life After Death is the most overated album ever.
It is very watered down and it wouldn't be better than Ready To Die if you took the best songs from both discs and made it a single disc album.
