I fucking hate the Los Angeles Sports Media (Baseball related)

As most of you baseball fans are aware, the NL West is pretty weak right now.  Naturally, when a team is doing poorly or just worse than the expectations going into the season, people want to see why it was the case.  With the Dodgers, you guys wouldn't believe the main reason a few reporters think why the Dodgers are doing poorly.  Now, Imma give you a list (from Dodger Thoughts) of actual obvious reasons why the Dodgers are 45-47. 



1) Rafael Furcal was injured.
2) Andruw Jones was out of shape, incompetent and injured.
3) Brad Penny lost effectiveness and was injured.
4) Tony Abreu was injured.
5) Chin-Lung Hu had vision problems.
6) Takashi Saito and Jonathan Broxton blew a few saves in otherwise effective seasons.
7) Chad Billingsley's first start of the season was derailed by a Los Angeles rainstorm.
Hong-Chih Kuo was underused in critical situations.
9) Hiroki Kuroda was injured.
10) Gary Bennett was signed.
11) Nomar Garciaparra was injured while Furcal was injured.
12) Jeff Kent is 40.
13) Andy LaRoche can't get more than two starts in a row to prove himself, which would be okay if Blake DeWitt had a batting average of more than .217, an on-base percentage of more than .277 and a slugging percentage of more than .263 over his past 46 games.
14) Juan Pierre was overused at the expense of Andre Ethier.
15) Mark Sweeney could not buy a hit even on layaway.
16) Brian Falkenborg gave Hanley Ramirez an easy pitch to hit.
17) The Dodger front office made some sloppy decisions.

The ones in bold are the ones that hurt me the most.  Anyways, guess what's the popular reason right now?  A few of the team's young players are basically not coachable or are just not listening.  Yes, you read right...the fucking young players who are saving this team's ass from being an embarrassing team. 

Matt Kemp  280/333/434  8 HR 48 RBI 
Russell Martin 308/398/448 10 HR 44 RBI
James Loney 299/357/456 7 HR 47 RBI
Andre Ethier 285/350/458 10 HR 40 RBI

Now, obviously these numbers aren't mind blowing, but shit these are all better than the veterans on the team like Jones, Kent, and Pierre.  Plus, the thing with Kemp is that he's not only just a 23, he's also young in terms of baseball years.  He didn't choose to be fully commit to baseball until he was 17.  From those 4, I can definitely see Kemp become a superstar.  Too bad the media has categorized him as a troublemaker and uncoachable player.  I swear to god if he or LaRoche or Kershaw gets traded for some bullshit players, Imma stop being a fan until they get a competent Owner and Front Office that don't cave in to the media's pressure.
