I don´t really liked Weezy before "The Carter III" but his last album change my whole view on dude. "Tie My Hands" and "Mr. Carter" are two of my fav tracks this year, I also totally feel "Shoot Me Down", "3 Peat", "Dr. Carter" and "Let The Beat Build". I know his voice and flow can be really annoying sometimes but overall he is a dope rapper, especially from the lyrical point of view. Of course this whole "Best Rapper Alive" jabbering is bullshit, but he´s definitely a dope rapper. I do not know if I really want to hear him on "Detox" though 

I couldn't have said it better.

And I don't understand why people just can't acknowledge that the man is just talented. He got bars, admit it.

I think If he read a few books it would benefit him a shit load.

you can't deny he's a good lyricist. I downloaded his whole discography and would sometimes bust out laffing at how clever some of his lines were, the guy is definitly a hard worker and theres no doubt in my mind that he is always in a studio doing what he loves. thats the reason I bought the carter III.

The way he works, by the time he dies he's is gonna have so many fucking songs recorded its mind boggling.

I like some of his material, because he is so weird and out there that is a nice change from 99% of rappers flow. Unfortunately he has become a trendsetter and now everyone copies him, so it's not too original sounding.
I dislike him, because while refreshing he does come off as a lazy crackhead, and i can't get into a lot of his production or have the patience for a full song. That being said I think he is great as a guest rapper.

I can't stand his fucking voice. I tried listening to Carter3, Each track I'm thinking it's an intro his voice and he'll start to rap buuut no it's the same fucking annoying voice all over the track.

he hops on everyones tracks. its just the west is starting to go to him for some reason. its not gonna help their sales/marketability though - everyone else is doing the same thing. shit, they been doin it.

na i know he been all over eastcoast and south shit. also, every song that comes close to the radio lol. but i thought the west wouldnt go for him...its a shame.
