For My College Cats.....Online Classes
« on: August 15, 2008, 01:51:25 PM »
This semester Im going to be taking a few college classes as its the only way I can take the courses I need. I've never taken an online class before, so for whoever has, how are they? Do you prefer online classes over class lectures? Im pissed because Im taking Microeconomics online and I wanted to take the lecture, figured I'd learn it better face to face with a professor.

It's a lot harder to get in the frame of mind you need to retain shit when you have itunes, multiple tabs open on the net, your fam or whoever in the house, all that.
so good luck, and focus.
is it worth the same amount of credits?

Well, like everyone else has said, you need to have focus and dedication.  It's easy to just walk away from the comp whenever you feel like it.  Especially with a course such as Economics, you need to really pay attention to the book and whatever material is given to you.
