Gotta understand that the dudes paying the recording bills and paying for media coverage are in many cases Jewish men.  So you will hear a lot more censorship on that point.  As well, it has been taboo to talk about anything remotely disparaging the Jewish race/religon since WW2.  Before that it was "ok" in the media, but when something as tragic as the holocaust occurs, people tend to try and be a little more sensitive.  Watch a movies credits or television credits, radio...almost any media.  It is almost controlled by men of Jewish backgrounds.  Not to be funny, but you will see a lot of steins, bergs, mans...etc.
