I hate our system so bad. This is the main reason I never fuckin vote. If I vote for Obama....he's winning Cali anyways. So how does my vote even fuckin matter? I need to move to Ohio or some fuckin where so my vote means something.  >:(

for real.. i live in another country now but still vote.. but my vote counts for California cuz i used to live there... but it dont mean nothing cuz gore, kerry, obama all win california.. i voted for all them..democrats always win california..

A Republican hasn't won here since 1972, the longest strike for the Democrats, but every year it's close, so it's stable, but as stable as a stack of cards in a tornado.

actually living in california our votes DO count. we're the "trendy" state and many states try to follow in our footsteps, i'm confident that obama will win this.

this is true. one thing about cali is that there are propositions, which basically means the people vote on their own goddamn laws. that'd be unheard of in MN, and once a proposition passes in California, most states usually try to put those laws in their own state and start a domino effect on the country. Plus, state elections in Cali are almost as important in national elections in the general, with each congress race and senate seat having huge impact, and local politics in Cali are on the scale of a huge senate race in anyother state.
