I got home late from work and missed it, but I have heard a lot of McCain's speeches are a bit of a snore. Of course, we should be electing a president to lead our country, not to make speeches. Although, a good public speaking demeanor never hurts.

If the candidate doesn't know anything about the economy, their "experts" tell them exactly what to say. Can you imagine Palin debating Biden tomorrow? It would be like Biden debating a TV tray. She's fucking brain dead on every issue. But she has 2 months to learn, to study, to understand, exactly what to say, and how to say it.

Too many politicians full of shit and too many loonies smashing shit way too close to my house. The state tried making the bar owners pay $10,000 to stay open until 4am (instead of 2am) during the convention, but only a couple in downtown St. Paul, the most confusing city to navigate in the nation (seriously) opted in. There are 6 blocks in between 6th St. and 7th St. And then there is this:So I couldn't even enjoy a drink late at night.
