Now, take 3 other labels, and do the same thing, compare the results..  This thread is worthless now cuz tons of ppl get dropped on EVERY label.

Yes but how many labels can say that they've dropped King T, Bustah Rhymes, The Game, AND Eve. No to mention basically not wanting to sign Cube.

It's cuz of Dre pretty much..

When news of an artist signing to Aftermath arrives, what do u think?  "Oh shit, Dre beats/production!"

Add to that, that the urban fanbase for sum reason, is most concerned with album sales/label dealings, out of all genres....

And add the internet, if we didn't have the internet none of us would know any of this shit until we saw the videos or logos on the CD's..

so basically Aftermath has had only 4 stars (Dre, Em, 50, Game), now only 3 left, with only 2 that will release an album this decade

I bet there are alot, especially the major labels, just we never wikipedia them...  So I don't know.   It's cuz of Dre like I said, the spotlight seems to be on Aftermath cuz of him...

nah it ain't voodoo shit.

dr. dre is just lazy as fuck. that, and a perfectionist.

even D.O.C. said that shit in that one interview.
and dre has said the same before.

i don't understand it, so much talent gone to waste over at this
label, don't know why people keep fucking with them.

luckily joell ortiz jumped ship in time.

i hope to hear statlanta one day if it ever gets leaked or released.

anyone know if "oh my god" by rakim is floating around in its entirety on the net?
all i have is "after you die", and that shit was incredible.

i never got to hear that Rakim track, could you please post it up if you get a chance?
and does anyone know what GAGE is up to, he had that song Be Easy with Akon, which i though was alright, has he just disappeared all together?
Dion should just release an album with hi-tek, i've wanted to hear some solo shit from him for a while now
