Jay-Z Forms Label With Production Duo Stargate

Jay-Z has reportedly joined forces with Norwegian production duo Stargate to create a new label called StarRoc.

According to MIC Norway, Stargate have relocated their studio from Manhattan to Jay-Z's Roc The Mic studios.

Stargate is comprised of Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel S. Eriksed.

The duo has produced an array of hits including Ne-Yo's “So Sick” and Beyonce's “Irreplaceable”.

Yeah, it seems obvious that this move is r'n'b/radio oriented, Stargate made #1's for Rihanna, Beyonce, Ne-Yo, etc.
The only hiphop work they did, was a couple of tracks for Nas.
