I think the Yankees aren't going to be in contention of a WS for a few years, regardless of who they pick upjust because it's just the way sports goes, before you know it they'll have been 10 years without a World Series
Truth be told the Yankes have enough money coming off the books this year to make 2-3 HUGE splashes. About 90-100 million is coming off the books ?

I-Rod is a free agent I believe. If I am the Yanks I let everyone walk except Moose if he wants to stay. If Moose is serious about retirement then I re-up with Pettite but that is only if Moose calls it quits.
