But it is her fault for accepting the nomination while being completely out of her league and an extreme right wing idiot. And where is the oxymoron? Conservative, Christian and idiot go together just fine. If anything, she's a MORON who doesn't deserve OXYgen.

Before the Civil Rights movement, the Democrats had the religious Christian vote.  The Christian racists were so pissed off at LBJ(one of their "own") for signing the Civil Rights Act that they actually left the party.  The Republican Party saw this as a big opportunity to find God and swept the South.
