Hell yeah its west. Isn't the IE in California, and we not that close to the coast. Philly and Boston are Eastcoast, ATL, Texas and Miami are the south, then AZ, Las Vegas, LA and the Bay are the westcoast, throw in Seattle too, 'cause Sir Mix A Lot did his thing and that's the West. I'm still on the fence with Denver, I have to hear something come out of there, but AZ is westcoast. Everyone I know from AZ use to bump that westcoast and now they are producing those rappers that sound west.
The "West Coast", "Western Seaboard", or "Pacific Seaboard" are terms for the westernmost coastal states of the Western United States, comprising most often California, Oregon and Washington. Arizona and Nevada, while not coastal states, are also often included in the West Coast due to their proximity to the Pacific Coast and their economic and cultural ties to California (such as Arizona's two largest universities which are members of the Pacific 10 Conference). Although not part of the contiguous United States, Alaska and Hawaii do border the Pacific Ocean and could be included in the West Coast. As of 2007, the estimated population of the West Coast ranged from approximately 50–60 million, depending on which states are included in the estimate.I WIN!
its not west coast nor is it south western state. its just West as in wild wild West back in the outlaws days, not west coast because its not on the coastline of the pacific ocean. it is part of a region called the Southwest. If youve been to Arizona, its a lot like Cali, at least in my opinion it is from the countless visits there.
Yeah i would go with it being West, like dude said before not west coast becuase it is inland. But it is definatly a west state.
