Well, if I did vote for McCain (which I wouldn't) it would probably be fear of Obama being a socialist; because I believe in the free market rather than government enforcing where our money goes.
However, the problem with that is that McCain is also a socialist (and on top of that a fascist. He voted for the bail out which is basically an extended nationalization of the banking industry, and feels no reluctance in sticking governments nose into all aspects of human endeavor, from major league baseball (he's the one that threatened them with steroid legislation which is definitely not a function of the government as outlined in the Constitution), to meddling in the affairs of Nations abroad, and all the while he demands that man's highest duty is to the state much in the same way as Stalin or Hitler.
The best candidate is probably Chuck Baldwin from a Libertarian perspective.

I'm not a fan of McCain, but you can't use inexperience as an excuse when Obama isn't anymore experienced than Palin. Obama is the one running for president. Palin isn't. You are right by saying they don't know shit about the economy, but what has Obama done to make him the defacto economic expert?
