It's not really a double standard. Black people wanting to vote for a black candidate is completely different then white people un-willing to vote for a black candidate. Racism versus pride for one's own race. Black people have been voting for the white man for decades and decades, now they finally have a chance to see a black man in office. No one sits at home and says "Finally this year I get to vote for the white man!!".
