i know they are gonna beat the spurs, suns, mavs and jazz its just the lakers who is giving me doubts
plus i know its tru that TMac never makes it out the first round but he leads the team to even make it that far... now with the help of Artest with his great defense and offense they have to make the playoffs

La is definitely the team in the West. The Rockets and Hornets look pretty damn good but it's hard for me to say that they'll knock off the Lakers, after how easily the Lakers made the finals without Bynum or Ariza. When it comes to the East I really can't say for sure. Of course Boston is likely but Philly, Detroit,or even the Cavs could give them a run for there money.

No doubt, but having Bynum and Ariza in the lineup makes a huge difference on the defensive end (especially Bynum at center instead of Gasol)

Yeah. But i'm seing Vujacic playing good defence, and that's absolutely amazing.. LOL.
Farmar is defending well, even Walton is moving his feet, Mihm is grabbing rebounds, Kobe is defending, SHIT EVEN RADMANOVIC IS DEFENDING PRETTY WELL.
Obviously Bynum and Ariza are helping the team.
But i gotta give props to Phil Jackson and his staff.
They said they wanted the Lakers to defend better, this year. And they're really doing it.
No defence = no title. Remember that.
