I don't see it coming out like we think it's going to.

I see it getting shelved for so long and then some tracks eventually get released on the internet or whatever. :(

As much as I love those two albums, this is the same as the people who want Detox to be "Chronic III".  As far as DJ Quik, I'd like to see some of the more agressive stuff he did with "Trauma" mixed with a little bit of the laid back shit he's known for. I'd like to hear the kind of the raw Kurupt we've come to know.

I think if Quik does a few funky joints a few joints like he did on Snoops new record, will havea  very good record to bump.

Kurupt cant be saying bitch every 2 seconds either like when he goes off either

that's basically what i said. i don't expect a chronic 3 from dre at all i'm more mature than that. i just want a album from dre that's true to his coast and his roots and what he's achieved so far. the best beat i've heard from quik lately was that shit he did wit terrance martin but he need to tap into his older trademark shit and that real talk.  trauma was a great album though.

I think many of you are waiting for this release. Hopefully it will see the day of light..

I´m very exited about, cant wait for the first single...

I got very high expectations, Quik is one of the best producers in the game and Kurupt CAN be one of the dopest MC´s

I hope we get like 16 or better 18 ;Dbrand new Dj Quik beats and a very focused Kurupt like back in the day...

Could be one of the best Colabo Albums in Rap History but i hope Kurupt dont fucks it up  :-\ ;D 8)
they need daz.

Kurupt normally brings it out when he's working with the top artists.

But to me, saying "Safe and Sound" meets "Dogg Food" reads like asking to rewind the clock back to the mid-90's. Artists try that quite a bit and most of the time, the results are mixed at best because people think that hearing older artists over a G-Funk beat is gonna make it feel like 1994 again and they get dissapointed. I liked "2001" and "Balance and Options" because they weren't Dre and Quik going back and doing their old stuff again. It was still their sound but it was matured. That's why I like Hi-Tek and Terrance Martin because they are making new shit that knocks like the classic 90's music did. They aren't going back and trying to sound like Death Row 1995, they are locking into what they enjoy about that sound and era and using all the tricks that have come along since and making great new music. I wouldn't wanna hear Quik like he was on "The Fixxers" or too much of the uninspired Kurupt stuff. I can't really say musically, what kind of sound I would want to hear or even expect but I'd like, if nothing else, for it to be on the same level of a DJ Quik solo album. The type of record you could never even know you wanted to hear until you heard it. Just don't want some rushed combo album like a lot of those records that MC Eiht or the Outlawz or one of Bone Thugs was doing over with Real Talk/Koch. Not to say those albums were trash or anything but this is DJ Quik and Kurupt. These are two rappers whose CD's I would give to friends and tell them that they needed to fucking hear. These are two guys in my top five here. That's no bullshit. A Quik-Kurupt album is like as big as Detox to me.
