no you are wrong about that . it is not about pride in their music , they don't drop music untagged because they want you buy the album with the music on it . mixtape with tagged music  on it are for promotionam uuse . that is why they are free. . mixtape are for only promotion they are not for sell as an album  is. if they made mixtapes just like albums for free why would you go buy a regular album from the store?  you would not & that is bad business. so you are wrong for what you say & you have been proven wrong. if you want untagged music go pay for it . nothing in life is for free!
