Visitors To "Tha Hood" This Season Include Joe Montana, David Spade, Roy Jones, Jr. And Many Others...

Los Angeles, CA - November 11, 2008 - E! brings families together for laughs this Thanksgiving weekend with the second season premiere of the hit series "Snoop Dogg's Father Hood" on Sunday, November 30 at 10:30 p.m., ET/PT.  The series once again takes viewers inside the heartwarming, hilarious and refreshingly normal home life of this international icon and his family.

Despite the fact that Snoop is touring regularly, acting in film and television, and running Doggy Style Records, his family is his top priority.  Viewers will catch up with his wife Boss Lady (Shanté) who really rules the roost; 14-year-old son and star athlete Spank (Cordé); 11-year-old son Rook (Cordell) who's all about the benjamins;  precocious 9-year-old Choc (Cori), the ultimate daddy's girl; and 22-year-old Anthony, Snoop's hairstylist's son who was "adopted" in to the family and helps keep the kids in line, while acting like a big kid himself.

In this season's first episode, Snoop shows son Spank some tough love when he sets him straight about not taking quarterback camp seriously, threatening to take him home if he doesn't get it together.  But not everything is so serious at camp.  Snoop gets to feel like a kid again and barely contains his excitement when he spends some time chatting with legendary players and fellow football dads Jerry Rice and Joe Montana while their kids run drills.  Meanwhile back at home, Boss Lady longs to bring a little more fun to the household by adding to their menagerie of pets.  Faced with the issue of where to house them all, she contemplates having a barn built on their property, much to Choc's surprise.
This season, Snoop is on the move.  Snoop visits Amsterdam, one of his favorite cities in the world.  Mixing business with pleasure, Snoop travels to Vegas as well with Ed Hardy's Christian Audigier to promote "Rich & Infamous," his new clothing line.  While having dinner at his Vegas hotel, he only half-jokingly suggests a fried chicken and waffle dish be named after him to honor his favorite meal.  And against his better judgment, Snoop is persuaded to put on a crash helmet and take a wild ride on desert dirt track in a souped-up dune buggy and lives to tell the tale.  Later in the season, Snoop finds himself in a fast car again when he competes against actor and comedian David Spade in a celebrity car race.  Convinced he'll finish with an easy victory, Snoop soon finds out there's nothing funny about Spade's driving.

For all the traveling and adventures he has, Snoop also loves to spend time with his family.  During a Father's Day trip to an amusement park, Snoop is excited to have the family introduce him to his namesake, Snoopy, and takes photos with the comic strip legend in his low-rider.  The Broadus clan continues the health kick they started in the first season when Snoop decides to shape up by boxing a former champion prizefighter Roy Jones, Jr. and Boss Lady gets a private lesson in healthy cooking with chef Kerry Simon.  Unfortunately for her, she underestimates her family's affinity for her delicious tuna tartar and Snoop comes to the rescue with a fried meal more to the family's liking.

In another episode, Snoop shows his softer side by giving Boss Lady a break from the kids and sending her out for a nice dinner with friends While she's away, he stays home to man the cotton candy machine and bake a cake for a gaggle of girls at Choc's sleepover, which proves to be a lot harder than it looks.  For the first time ever, viewers will see Snoop on the gridiron coaching Rook's team, the Pomona Steelers, one of the teams in the Snoop Youth Football League.  He takes a special interest in a young player who's been through had times, becoming a positive force in his life and giving him some much needed direction.

The friends, family and confidantes viewers have grown to love return this season also. Boss Lady's sister Sharelle; Snoop's long-time friend and hair stylist, Tasha; dedicated Kevin, the white hip-hop head and one of Snoop's many wranglers and managers; and Big Keyes, one of Snoop's three huge bodyguards can all be seen in episodes this season.
"Snoop Dogg's Father Hood" is produced by E! Studios in conjunction with Savant Productions and Snoopadelic Films. Snoop Dogg, Ted Chung, Constance Schwartz, Anthony Mandler and David Roma are executive producers.

"Snoop Dogg's Father Hood" premieres Sunday, November 30th at 10:30 p.m., ET/PT on E!
