Ariza holding it down, now that's something you don't see too often in the NBA

that's what a pro basketball player should be doing

^ That dude is insane.

Bonus: quote after the game

Guy: Pau Gasol just put up 22 & 11 against Dirk Nowitzki, one of the best players in the world. Pretty good game huh?
Kobe: Well last time I checked Pau was one of the best too...

I wouldn't have said anything but since there's this thread and people will call me a coward if I keep my mouth wired, I'll just say this: Aside from being 2-5, I'm cool with this game. Without our 2nd best player, we still kept up with a superior team. Can't hate on that.

It's all good. Your team needs a win, but this wasn't the game to win. Lakers are just too much.

For one, Ariza was injured most of last season, so they didn't know how capable he'd be when he got back. Vlad on the other hand is profecient in the triangle offense. But also the starting lineup is designed so that attention would be drawn inside to Bynum and Gasol so the SF can get open threes, which is Vlad's strength.

well they have a 50% chance at winning

but they also have a 50% chance at losing
Scored top marks in math class, did you?

there's a 50% chance of the answer being yes, and a 50% change of it being no

and a 100% chance of you being gay

That's a fallacious way of thinking. You're basically saying that when an action can lead to only 2 possible outcomes the chances of either happening are exactly 50% It's like saying their is a 50% you're going to die tomorrow since you either will or you won't.
