i don't know why shaq would have done that on purpose, the only other times he's ever fouled someone hard like that is if someone who was guarding him was using dirty tactics to guard him. in this case stuckey wasn't even ever around him. so i really doubt it was intentional. plus you can see his eyes were solely on the ball. it was a hard hit but it's not like it was intentional like a karl malone foul. if you're a suns fan you're glad shaq made the effort to block that shot from that position.

It looked clean, but I can understand why they'd call a technical. To eject him was extreme. The thing to remember is that the refs are watching 200+ (or in Shaq's case 300+) men make contact with each other from a couple feet away. They don't have the benefit of replay or slow mo, so sometimes what they see happen live seems worse then it actually is. It's not always easy seeing where a player's eyes are at the point of contact.
