it's just a question? Not all of them like Jay rock but mostly are influenced by the south or by what's working right now (autotune shit)
It show the lack of personality of some of this "new cats"; Like somebody says fuck the new west this is one west!

lol, I saw this thread and was about to come & say that Jay Rock & Nipsey Hussle ain't "south" type of artists...

and there really shouldn't be this "new west" & "old west" thing, it ain't like older artists make music for different people.. potential fanbases are pretty much the same..
