yeah i agree with that statement.

as a conventional running back (like he was at USC) he's a complete joke. But Shawn Payton has done a good job of fitting him into that system.....he's the deadliest receiving back i've ever seen, get him in the open field and he's a weapon for sure.

I agree. the Saints needed a pound-it-out back, who they lost when Deuce went down. I know they love to pass the ball, but you have to develop some kind of running game. Sean Payton is an awful coach. Bush can't carry the rock 20 times anyway. all he does is punt returns and catch balls, then gets injured eventually.

look at Brian Westbrook. dude was a late 3rd round pick and look how versatile he is. he can carry the rock 20 times, catch it 10 times and do punt returns all day. Bush is a bust. the Saints have a ton of WR talent as it is. they really don't need Reggie Bush if you think about it. they shoulda drafted defense mostly. they would've been better off, IMO.
