Categorising people as nice or nasty(assholes)

We have a tendency to put people we meet at either of end the scales, where as in reality everybody is roughly in the middle. Certain situations and environments bring out a persons better or worse qualities. For example when im looking after my nephews and neices thats a side of me you wudn't see when im not with them.

Its bothers me that anywhere new you go you either 'liked' or 'not liked'. people or too quick in their minds to push you to one extreme.
